The Artistic Templar sweatshirt is the trans-seasonal, heritage jewel in the crown of the 2024 collection.
The abstract embroidery is the result of creative research into the native poppy of the British Isles. The designer waded through hordes of antique prints from The Royal Horticultural Society at the British Library. Once the perfect image was found it was digitised and re-worked into an abstract art-form.
The artwork was then interwoven with micro-leather applique, to form the Templar, with stems, leaves and buds intricately inter-woven, and entwined within the Templars helmet.
This original thought-provoking piece, encapsulates centuries of military design, thought and pride, resulting in a 250,000-stitch count, that earns its haute couture embroidery tag.
This sweatshirt is art-history meets abstract streetwear, in an authentic collaborative style.
